SMS Terms & Opt-In Policy

1. About the Clarendon Tire SMS Program

Clarendon Tire LLC ("Clarendon Tire," "we," "us," or "our") operates an account-related text messaging program to help our customers manage their tire and automotive service appointments. This page describes who can enroll, what kinds of messages we send, how often, and how to stop receiving them.

2. What Messages You Will Receive

If you opt in, Clarendon Tire will send you only transactional, service-related text messages tied to your appointment or vehicle service. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program. Messages you may receive include:

  • Appointment confirmations after you schedule a service with us.
  • Appointment reminders sent ahead of your scheduled service date.
  • Vehicle-ready notifications when your service is complete and your vehicle is ready for pickup.
  • Service-related updates about your appointment, such as schedule changes, parts availability, or estimate questions.
  • Review requests after a completed service so you can share feedback (one message per completed service, optional to respond).

3. How to Opt In (Express Consent)

We only send text messages to customers who have given us express consent to receive them. You may give consent in any of the following ways:

  • Online: When you book an appointment on our Schedule page, you may check the SMS opt-in box. The box is unchecked by default — you must affirmatively check it to enroll.
  • In person: At the shop, by signing a service ticket or written opt-in form that includes the SMS disclosure language.
  • Verbally: By telling a Clarendon Tire team member, during a phone call you initiated with us, that you would like to receive text message updates about your appointment. Verbal consent is documented in our customer record.

Consent is never a condition of purchase or service. You are not required to opt in to texts in order to schedule, receive, or pay for service at Clarendon Tire. If you do not opt in, we will contact you about your appointment by phone or email instead.

We keep a record of your opt-in (date, channel, and scope) for at least four (4) years, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Message Frequency & Carrier Charges

Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your appointments and service activity. Most customers receive no more than 4–8 messages per month, and only when there is an active appointment or service in progress.

Message & data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier may apply to each message you send or receive. Clarendon Tire is not responsible for any charges imposed by your wireless carrier in connection with our messages. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.

5. How to Stop Messages or Get Help

  • To stop: Reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts from this program.
  • To opt back in: Reply START to a previous message, or contact us directly at the shop, by phone, or by email.
  • For help: Reply HELP to any of our messages, or email service@clarendontire.com or call (703) 524-7622.

Opting out of texts will not affect your ability to use any other Clarendon Tire service. If you opt out, we will continue to communicate with you about active appointments by phone or email.

6. Eligibility & Number Changes

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide. By opting in, you confirm that you are the subscriber of the phone number you give to us, or that you have the subscriber's permission to enroll it.

If you change your mobile number or transfer it to a new account, please notify us so we can update your record. We are not responsible for messages delivered to a number you no longer control if you have not told us about the change.

7. Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is supported by all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, Metro by T-Mobile, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy & Use of Your Phone Number

We use your mobile number only to send the messages described in this policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in information with any third party for their own marketing purposes. We share it only with the SMS technology provider we use to deliver messages on our behalf. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this SMS Terms & Opt-In Policy from time to time. The Effective Date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on this page. Continued participation in the program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
